Ambrosia is a food of the Greek gods that allows mortals to visit Olympus. Astrid gave it to Zarek by so he could visit her home and to Valerius so he would have god-powers equal to his half brother Zarek.

Simi is obsessed with barbecue sauce and puts it on everything. She even carries it in her purse.
Beignets[]
Beignets[1] are fried French pastries served at Café du Monde in New Orleans. Talon is especially fond of them.
Chicory coffee[]
Chicory coffee is a flavored coffee also served at Café du Monde and enjoyed by Talon.
Nectar[]
Nectar is a drink of the Greek gods that makes mortals immortal. Given by Zarek and Astrid to Valerius and Tabitha Devereaux as a wedding gift.
Red beans and rice[]
Red beans and rice[2] is an emblematic dish of Louisiana Creole cuisine (not originally of Cajun cuisine) traditionally made with red beans vegetables, spices, and pork bones, cooked together slowly in a pot and served over rice. Meats are also frequently used in the dish.
Sprite[]
Sprite[3] is a colorless, lemon- and lime-flavored, caffeine-free soft drink. It gets Acheron Parthenopaeus drunk.
